Vintage Clocking In & Out machine
£349.00Price
This gorgeous piece was crafted in the 1940's-50's by National time recorder Co Ltd. It is in great condition and was working when we reclaimed it from a private sellers home. He had worked at St Mary Cray railway station in Kent and reclaimed this clocking in and out machine when the railway was updated. Unfortunately it has since started working intermittently, so most likely need a good service and a clean inside of the machine. It is an electric machine so will not need winding like older variations. The glass front panel is the original one with gorgeous gold font in the makers name. The wood looks to be oak that has been stripped back and varnished with a lighter varnish. It still has its original cast iron plate at the front that is painted black. The brass handles are all in place too. This would make a quirky piece to have in a pub or vintage style restaurant or shop. It's a great talking point and a piece of nostalgia of days gone by.
