Vintage brass hand door knocker

This decorative door knocker was sourced on a recent buying trip to Morocco.
 
Its shape is a variation of one of the most popular symbols in Morocco, the Hand of Fatima, or Hamsa hand, used to provide protection and ward off evil.
 
Due to this door knocker being made from solid brass it is a substatial weight and creates a lovely loud knocking sound too.
It is crafted from solid brass and is complete with the brass piece that attaches to your door for the hand to knock on to.
It is easy to install as it has four pre-drilled holes in it, that allow you to screw it in to your door with minimal fuss. 
 
This is a vintage piece which is in fantastic condition for its age.
