Surpil DCW chairs
These Surpil chairs are not only comfortable and elegent, but they are robust, light, and stackable too.
Invented by Julien-Henri Porché, who turned his attention to designing furniture made entirely from metal for use in public spaces in 1927. He made his mark on French design of the period by creating chairs that were both functional and yet bestowed with a line that was graceful and light through the use of two tubes which were used to form the seat and the back. It is this feature that makes each piece appear light, while at the same time ensuring its underlying strength.
These chairs are vintage chairs and have been used in public cafes previously, so they do have signs of wear and tear, but they are still very sturdy and have many more decades left in them yet.
If you are taking advantage of the multi saving discounts, we will ensure we send chairs of similar shades and condition. If we are in any doubt, we will liaise with you first.
