Opinel "Le Petit Chef" Knife, Finger Guard & peeler set.
If your kids love helping out in the kitchen, treat them to small-hand-sized tools of their very own with Opinel’s Le Petit Chef, and they’ll soon be cutting, slicing and peeling away like little professionals.
- Secure-grip chef’s knife – with a round-tipped, 10cm stainless steel blade, beechwood handle and finger ring to give a secure grip and prevent little fingers from slipping onto the blade.
- Finger guard – protects the hand holding the food while it’s being cut, and helps kids adopt the professional chef’s position when cutting – with folded index and middle fingers, and thumb and little finger holding the food.
- Secure-grip peeler – with a beechwood handle, ring to help position fingers, peel more easily, and protect against cuts.
Please note: recommended age 7+. The knife blade is sharp and children should be supervised at all times when using it.

Handle - Beech is the most commonly used wood for the manufacture of Opinel handles. From France, our beech is hard, durable and easy to work. With a homogeneous appearance, its light color varies from yellow to pink. It is characterized by the presence of numerous small dark dashes.

By law, we are NOT permitted to sell a knife or blade to any person under the age of 18 (Criminal Justice Act 1988).
- Please be aware we will ask you to send a picture of your ID (which must include your name, age and address) before posting an age restricted product out!
- Once we have checked your ID we will post the age restricted product out to you. But, you must make sure that an individual aged 18 or over be present at the address upon delivery. Royal Mail practices Challenge 25 and the recipient may be required to present ID to Royal Mail. Failure to do so may result in the Age Verified Item not being delivered.
- If you are collecting the age restricted product from our shop, please be advised that we also practice Challenge 25 and you may be required to present ID to verify you are over 18.
