With this N°08 Mushroom Knife you will be ready for the mushroom picking.
Pick, remove dust and clean your mushrooms all with this multi tool. The handle is equipped with a boar bristle brush and a blade with toothed back. It is essential for the mushroom lovers. 
 
** Please note: Due to stock shortages, we have had to order the blister pack version of this product for the time being. We hope to switch back to the cardboard packaged version in the future. 
 
Blade length - 7 cm
 
Blade material - Stainless steel is an alloy steel. The addition of chromium increases its resistance to corrosion. Stainless steel does not require any special maintenance.
 
Handle - Beech is the most commonly used wood for the manufacture of Opinel handles. From France, our beech is hard, durable and easy to work. With a homogeneous appearance, its light color varies from yellow to pink. It is characterized by the presence of numerous small dark dashes.
 
Safety ring - Invented by Marcel Opinel in 1955, the Virobloc safety ring is fitted to all folding knives from the N° 06. Cut out of stainless steel, the Virobloc has two sections, one fixed and one sliding. In addition to locking the blade open (safety in use), it is now possible to lock the blade closed (safety in transport).

    By law, we are NOT permitted to sell a knife or blade to any person under the age of 18 (Criminal Justice Act 1988).

    • Please be aware we will ask you to send a picture of your ID (which must include your name, age and address) before posting an age restricted product out! 

     

    • Once we have checked your ID we will post the age restricted product out to you. But, you must make sure that an individual aged 18 or over be present at the address upon delivery. Royal Mail practices Challenge 25 and the recipient may be required to present ID to Royal Mail. Failure to do so may result in the Age Verified Item not being delivered.

     

    • If you are collecting the age restricted product from our shop, please be advised that we also practice Challenge 25 and you may be required to present ID to verify you are over 18.
