Antique 'fresh cream' pot
This beautiful antique cream pot is dated circa 1900's! The pot would have been used to sell fresh cream inside and would have been made as a 'one use only' item. Many of these pots were thrown in to Victorian dumps and were considered mundane items back then. Nowadays however they are fully appreciated for the beautiful fonts and illustrations that you see on the front of the pot. They can also be used for a few things nowadays, including storing pens or pencils, as a decorative item, as a flower vase, ect. This piece is in fantastic condition for its age, with one chip at the rim of the pot and a hairline crack at the base. Overall it's a solid and beautiful piece of antique pottery. Measurements Height- 11.5cm Width (at widest)- 7cm Width of base- 4.5cm Width of the opening- 3.5cm
