Antique chemists jar
This beautiful chemist jar is dated from the Victorian era and is in fantastic condition for its age. It is made from porcelain in a striking green and white colour combination.
The label is glass that has red and gold detailing underneath. This specific jar was used for storage Camphor in a chemist's to sell to customers. These are very rare pieces and are very hard to come by. It is very clean so could be used for many storage uses today, such as flour or bath salts.
The lid is made of tin and a copper handle. The tin has also been painted green. There is a slight crack at the front rim of the jar, as shown in the photographs, but the jar is still in fantastic condition and is a good solid piece.
